Check your air inflow tube and vac lines!!

i've got 94k on my 06 TL and after taking a quick peek under the hood I notice a crack in the air inflow tube (the rubber tube that connects the air box to the manifold). I replaced this and MAN!!!! WHAT A huge difference. No hesitation at take off...much smoother gear transitions and better overall performance. Who knew such a small vacuum leak could cause such a loss in performance. CHECK YOUR VACUUM!! might be worth it...just my

The black tube between the throttle body and air filter box is only an OEM part. So I assume he got it from Acura or Honda. Its probably pretty cheap and could order it from any of the acura online parts dealers.

I hate to be a downer but this is impossible. This car is not MAF equipped so the sole purpose of that tube is to deliver filtered air to the throttlebody. It can leak without affecting performance, you'll just get unfiltered air into the engine. On a MAF car it would make a difference. On a speed density like the TL, no difference. A hole in this pipe is not a vacuum leak.
