You need to read older posts or use the search function. This issue has been covered here many times. Your problem is the PVC valve. You need to change it or have dealer do it for you. You will continue to get this error until you do so...changed mine and never saw the error again...

Evap canister.......
Just picked my car up from Radley's of Falls Church yesterday.......
Among other warranty things fixed.

There is an Acura TSB on this and covered under the warranty..........

Or you can just watch it cycle on and off, as it will........

Item #1 on this link I'm guessing?
http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Is that the "sensor" many of these "fuel cap" threads point to?
{Been searching}
Sounds more like this solenoid would fail causing a sensor somewhere to become angry with what it is reading, but I haven't found a monitoring sensor yet in my searches.
Item #12 is all I've found so far, but temp sensor doesn't seem to have anything to do with fuel pressure/tank pressure.
http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

17382-SDA-A00 Maybe??? can't find pic. says pressure sensor, but may be for tires for all I know....

Lots of editing! Item 20 maybe???

when i called acura with the same problem and explained my problem and explained what part i would need to change, they said that i ran out of warranty. that time i had 50k on my 2007 acura TL-S. I hate dealers... bought the part for 82$ i changed by my self.

98% of the time it is the fuel cap itself not sealing. I would start with replacing the cap since it is more than likely the cheapest thing to try....

i disagree 98% it is pvc valve, not the cap, especially if you have TL-S...

Already replaced the gas cap - still get the message - sometimes 2-3 times per tank. I mean how hard is it to tighten a gas cap? Naahhhhh...not the problem. Going to the dealer and have them replace the purge control valve on warranty.

This site is a GREAT resource.

they're are three major parts...purge valve..gas cap or gas tank filler tube...but if u pump gas and when the pumps stops and u just give it a fuel clicks more and more..thus, will eventually produce more gas flumes and most of the time make the purge valve stick...soo go underneath your hood and find the purge valve and give the purge valve a few taps with a screwdriver or anything to bang it and go drive the vehicle and it should go awayy..90% of the time is the purge valve

Talking Dealer replaces purge control valve as goodwill

So even though I was over 50K (55K+) miles and I go to an independent for service, the dealer replaced the purge control valve as goodwill. They tried to weasel out of it, but I said I had the documentation to prove that the problem started before 50K and I had already tried to fix the issue by buying a new gas cap. I even used the 'this is a known issue out of the forums' and they said, 'oh yeah, it's the solenoid'. Really.

This site is an excellent resource!
