Check Fuel Cap Message???
So today, I went to the gas station and filled my car up. After driving for another 10 minutes or so back to my home, I noticed a message was being displayed saying my fuel cap was not closed. I've checked and it seems to be fine and I even twisted it some more.
Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem?

This is straight from the owner's manual:
The CHECK FUEL CAP message should go off after tightening the fuel cap, turning the ignition switch off and on, then driving over 30 mph(48 km/h) for at least 45 seconds. Due to different driving conditions, it may take a few driving trips to make the message go off. If a loose or missing fuel cap was not the cause of the CHECK FUEL CAP message coming on, the message will turn off and the malfunction indicator lamp will come on. If this happens, have your vehicle checked by a dealer as soon as possible

nice job H! you are fast becoming a major asset to the board!
thank you!!
There have been poblems from a loose filler pipe seal to bad gas caps
Make sure you tighten it to 3 clicks
10 clicks is not required and does not actually tighten the cap any more!!
The first click is the tight indicator- the next 2 ensure you really did get it on tight
The TL fuel system needs an airtight setup from the airfilter box at one end and the gas cap at the other
If the book method doesnt solve it- call for an appt with the dealer
Call acura and make a file complaint, 1-800-382-2238 x5 ask for a recall check on your VIN number too- register with them as the owner
gen 3 needs those power steering hoses replaced!!!
some danger of underhood fire~
and some cars get a new wiper motor-- as it quits without warning---nice - get it fixed for winter
