I have a buzz/rattle coming from the center speaker area of the dash. It comes and goes depending on road surface. If I press on the speaker cover noise stops. Anybody removed the center console to fix it? Any tips?

 

well there is a s-b on this.07-049. 9-10 the cover is going to crack coming out. you replaced the cover and foam the dash on the in side where the cover and the specker sit. this is covered under warrenty.

 

Thanks! I thought I need to take the whole dash apart. The car is under limited warranty for 12,000mi because is certified. But I don't know if this warranty covers it.

thx for the advise. i had the same issue. dealer kept my car almost a week and replace the speaker cover, but didnt solve the problem!!
