Have you had the PCM update done for the 2007 TLS yet? May solve it for ya.

 

Nope, but is this really necessary? Is this hurting anything by not updating?

 

My 04 threw the p1074 code while idling, it goes on every time i idle for more than 10 minutes. Im still researching what may cause the problem. I think i hear a small exhaust leak and that may be the cause but im not sure. Itll clear itself after about an hour but i carry around a small obd2 scanner to quickly remove the eye sore off of the cluster...

 

this stupid code is all too common, fuel too lean bank 2 blah blah blah. I had it on my car and was usually a result to the gas. I took it to acura once and they wanted to change all 6 fuel injectors. I said BS. The code disappeared and I drove another 15k miles before it came back up, said fk it, turn the car off, went upstairs, came back and it was gone. No loss of power, no limp mode...nothing.

 

I am getting this code as well, I have got it twice in the last 3 days, Saturday it came on when I was sitting in my driveway in the morning, about 60-65 degrees out, and the light popped up, went and drove it, car is very quite when idleing and has all power and no Vacuum leak. so I went to Auto Zone had them run the code and it was P0174, bank 2 running lean. So later that day I disconnected the negative battery cable for about 3 min and cleared the light, drove it saturday, then sunday, then Monday morning, it came on once i drove it for about a mile, so I was like wtf!!! Called up Acura to make an appointment, all of them was closed for Labor Day, so I called up Honda, they made an appointment for today Tuesday, but after I washed my car the Check Engine Light went off, so I called Honda to cancel the appointment since I felt it wasn't a need to bring it in if the CEL was off.

I see this is a problem on most TL's, have anyone finally found out what the problem could be? It did come on the first time after I went to one of those no brand gas station, but I always add 93 though.

I've also noticed that since the light I've been getting POOR gas mileage, about 100miles at a half tank of regular driving. IDK, I filled it up again with shell 93, I always use Shell 93 or Mobile 93 but I don't know if it is bad gas or the computer just needs to be upgraded/reflashed.
