Cel On
Hello All,
So today i stop by the gas station, not to pump gas in to my car but to wash it down with the self wash machine. So i spray my car all over. Once i start my car the CEL came on. I went to my friend who has an ODBII machine.
The error code were
PO174-SYSTEM TOO LEAN
PO171-SYSTEM TOO LEAN
ANY IDEA WHY THIS HAPPENED?

pull fuse 12 in the passenger footwell- number may be different on your year, but look for CLOCK- that is the secret backup power for the ECU
Or if you know the radio-nav security codes- disconnect the neg battery cable for a minute then replace- that forces a computer reset- then drive and see if CEL gone

there is a note about this in the april acura news. They are claiming it is due to CAI's and if they get a car with those codes and a CAI is installed, to give it back to the customer and tell them that it is due to the CAI.
