Car Wont Shift From Park or Drive

hey guys, first time poster. i love the car but ive been having an issue as of later where the car will not shift from Park or Drive and it would take some time before it actually will move.

Do you think it would mean i need transmission fluid? or a complete flush or something worse?

i got the car with about 36k on it now it has 60k haven't had to change the fluid yet.

i think it should be fine. i think acura added a 1-2second delay when you shift from park to drive to prolong the transmission...=/

the delay is a bit longer than that like i could stop the car. and wait and it still wouldnt even move. then after maybe 5 mins or so it would actually move. and its sporadic a cold start it sticks. but if it was running a bit then it could move. i think maybe the level is low. im going to the dealer today. i hope i only have to pay 100, they charge 229 for a complete flush. and i dont want to be screwed over.

lol thats waaaay more than a flush....if its taking a longer time that 2 secs to kick into a gear its typically mechanical.....even the shifting is mechanical.....so prob time for a tranny hopefully its covered under warranty or goodwill i know they have goodwill warranties that you can qualify for.
