Car pulls to the right after alignment?
I just purchased a 2004 Acura TL 6 speed with 54,000 miles. I just had the car aligned yesterday because it was pulling to the right. The alignment was off but the car still pulls to the right. I have to drive with the wheel slightly turned to the left. Is this a common TL problem? Any solutions? I have Sumitomo sport tires.

Might be your tires. I have sumitomo's as well and mine does the same thing. I've had three alignments and still pulls one way or the other. After I desided to quit going to NTB I had another tire shop tell me that the side wall in my tire is too soft. He could say for sure that its the problem, but he did say that its a good possibility.
I think I've desided that I just going to deal with it till it's time for new tires.

Having recently gone through this when I purchased an 05 6spd, here's what I've found:
Once all tires are matched and properly inflated, try this simple test:
1) After alignment - engage the clutch while driving on a road with minimal crown. See if the car coasts in a straight line. If so, the alignment is correct.
2) Put the car back into gear. The "pull" to the right will most likely reappear.
My car failed a state inspection due to this phenomenon. I attribute it to the driveline, perhaps torque steer in the 6spd. There is a TSB regarding this, but it only applies to initial sale warranty and entails placing test weights on the steering wheel to measure the pull, rotating the tires in various combinations...I couldn't get any mechanic to perform the procedure because it takes a great deal of time and isn't covered by warranty after the initial purchase period (6 months I think).
My solution to minimize the pull is to run the RF tire at 1 to 2 PSI higher than the LF tire. The pull is now tolerable with no adverse affects on tire wear.
Good luck.

I have an 07 that does this as well, only mine is to the left. (I got a balance and alignment last week) I have considered taking it back to the shop, but have not yet since it seems so odd. It doesn't seem to pull all of the time, which is why I have hesitated in taking it back again. I have an AT though, so not sure if the torque steer you are talking about even applies to me. I will try to pop it in neutral though and see if the car stops pulling.

Same thing with me I have a 04 TL and it pulls to the right hard but sometimes if I jerk the car to the left it straightens out and then a quarter down the road and it does the same thing, but sometimes it will drive straight it makes so no sense.
So I dropped it off at Sears to get it aligned and the guy showed me the frame of the car and he says that it was in a bad accident and it seems like the aluminum part of the frame is bent. He stated thats why it keeps pulling towards the right, but I dont believe it because sometimes it drives normal. I think it might be the bushings.

sorry to bring this thread back, but what kind of bushings were the problems?
i've had this same problem for a while now, but its really annoying. Its not tires, because i've been through 3 different rims and it still does that, even on stock rims. Aligned & balanced, tire pressure are the same...

Im with Importhonda. I just got an alighment and balance. car veers to the right on two set of rims. tire pressure was set the same. I never had this problem until after i maxed out my coilovers to the lowest. It was about 5 spins from the bottom before.

I have 2006 a/t bushings replaced buy trustworthy shop, alignment done there, tires switched left right etc. Pulls hard. Without giving it throttle. They didn't claim to see control arm damage but my car has 178592 miles on odo. Tires wearing normally and rotated only have about 6k miles on the set. Tired of this pull. Could it be a sticking caliper? My rotors are definitely warped and will br serviced and replaced this weekend. .
