Car Jerking 2nd Gear & RPM Fluctuation

Hello,

My car has developed an interesting issue. Whenever I accelerate it jerks in second gear around 40-45mph and the RPM's fluctuate while cruising at a low RPM. Has anyone had this issue before?

Yes, in 1 2004 Acura TL and a 2006 Honda Odyssey. Dealer re-programmed the transmission module to fix both cases.

So I just have to go to the dealer to get it fixed?

My Honda/Acura specialty shop directed me to a dealer thus I believe the dealer is a necessity.
