Car hesitates when stopping and accelerating
Hi guys! I have a question. I have a 2004 Acura TL. It is currently in the shop for motor mounts. That being said, I have some slight hesitation when I'm stuck in traffic. When applying the brake and accelerating quickly, it hesitates. It only does it when I'm stuck in traffic while braking and acceleration. It also does it when I'm going up a hill and I release the gas and accelerate again, it hesitates and the car jerks. I have changed the spark plugs already. Perhaps once all the motor mounts are changed that may rectify the issue?! I seafoamed the car about two weeks ago and it was driving GREAT! It didn't hesitate at all. It is doing it again though.. Can someone EXPLAIN?! THANKS!

Sounds like mounts to me, if they were bad enough then you will get a jerk/hesitation because since your engine is so heavy its moving all over the place so now with the new mounts you'll be fine. My car did this for a while then the engine light came on and i replaced the O2 sensor and replaced 2 mounts. After i did that the hesitation completely went away and never came back.
