A/C stops blowing air

Just picked up my 05 Automatic TL last night. On the way home (4 hour drive), I noticed after 3 hours that the air was not blowing at all. I got home and rested for a few hours. Decided to go take the car for a ride and the air was blowing really well and super cold like it should. I read it could be the compressor clutch.

Summary
A/C blows really hard for a few hours - stops blowing completely (does not blow hot air, simply stops) - after the car is off for a few hours, the A/C works perfectly fine.

Run the HVAC diagnostic and see if it gives you any codes. Might be the power transistor for the blower motor, dunno:

Thanks for the info...

I just ran the test I think...

For the first 25 seconds, It said the Temperature was "Hi" showed a defrost icon on the screen, A/C ON, fan speed at the lowest and the air blow very low..

For the next 25 seconds. It said the Temperature was "Lo" and was on Auto. Everything else was blank and the air blow very hard.

Then the a/c turned off by itself and nothing else occurred. I took a video if it would help if I posted it.

Any ideas?

If the temperature indicators didn't alternate between "88" and a letter, then it didn't find anything. (or possibly didn't do it right).

Nope. They did not alternate. I tried it like 4-5 times. The instruction says the press the recirculation button 5 times in 10 seconds. does it matter how slow or fast I press it? Cause at first I pressed it really quick and nothing at all happened. Then it worked when I waited a second each time (within 5 seconds I pressed it 5 times)

Also, my radio was on if that makes a difference.
