Hi everyone! New to the forum -- this place looks great!!

Question -- I have an '04 TL with 32,000 miles on it (I finally got rid of my long commute last month! ). ...My problem is this:

Two weeks ago, I noticed that the On/Off seat warmer on the driver's side didn't light up anymore when the headlights were on -- not the orange light when the warmer is on, but the words "on/off".
--Next day, tried using the seat warmer and there was a burning smell.
-- Tried it again a few days later, even worse burning smell after about 5 minutes.
-- Made an appt to get it fixed but it's not until next week because I needed a loaner.
-- This morning driving to work, had the regular heat on and the rear defrost and smelled the same burning smell.

Has anyone else had or heard of similar problems? Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
