Has anyone else noticed bumper color on most TLs is off?

Mine isn't....

Here is why:

1- When painting a rear bumper on any car that has such a tight fit to the 1/4's or fenders, blend the adjacent panel. It won't be perfect due to the change from metal to plastic, but it will be a million times closer than what you have.

2- Find a shop that use water borne paints. They match a lot better than solvent paints.

As BradE, there is a notorious issue, and is worse on certain colors compared to others.

I believe White Diamond Pearl is the most affects. Now, I have SSM, and it doesnt match at all, but I am also mising the VIN sticket from my bumper, so it was with peeled off, or i have a replacement bumper on ...

ok, glad to see others have noticed this, too. It's odd don't you think that the front bumpers match so well but the back is off? I'm off to search..

 

yeah, i really wanted the WDP color but ever since my friend at work brought up the fact that there's a difference in the bumper, i bought a black one instead. haha.
