Bulbs keep burning out?

Does anyone else have this issue? My steering wheel bulbs keep burning out, along with the heated seat lights, and the MID lights! It's ridiculous! The dealership has replaced so far EVERY light on the steering wheel, the passenger heated seat light, and MID select light... and now, the MID select light burned out again along with the same heated seat light!

AHHHHHH!!!! Anyone heard of this?

It must be some voltage issue with the alternator or regulator...that's all I can think of. I'm sure the dealer has a diagnostic that can show voltage at all times.

Not that your bulbs should be burning out often. How often do you use your parking/lights before your bulbs burn out?
With the daylight savings time change, I have been using my headlights about 30 minutes each weekday. All bulbs still working.

Have the techs scope the output of the alternator. You might have some spikes or ripple that is outside the usual operating limits. If you have a high voltage problem you should notice your lights getting brighter before they burn out.

Are the bulbs that are burning out LEDs, incandescent bulbs or is it the fuse that protects the circuit ? Ask to see the burned out bulb. Is the fillament actually damaged ? I think takes allot of abuse to kill an incandescent bulb.

I would get on this ASAP. If you have spikes it could shorten the life of other expensive components. If it does turn out to be your alternator tell them you want an extended warranty on the electrical system including your headlights and especially the LED taillights..free.
