Hey guys, my future daughter-in-law has an 08 TL. She has been told she has a broken tie rod, is the car even driveable like that because she's been driving it?
Anyone have an idea what that would cost to fix?

 

yes it's driveable - as you can see she's not dead or complaining about weird car behaviour

you don't want to take corners too fast/hard.

To fix it, shouldn't cost much at all.
Remove/cut off the remaining tie rod end and install new one.

Around $35 for each side for the part from the dealer

 

Any idea what labor would be?

 

Expect an hour of labour max.
