I've noticed that my rubber was broken just like its showing on that picture.

Is it necessary to replace these?

 

I have the same issue with my tein basic. My coilovers are not even a year old. It really sucks. I would also like to know if its gonna affect anything?

 

Does it make a difference on height??

Are you guys experiencing any squeaking sounds when going over bumps?

 

one of my coils are starting to rip like that was well... 3yr old super streets w/ about 20k on em. If i can recall.. it did affect me being able to adjust the height to my liking because it felt as if the rings were grinding and locking up against the rubber piece... then again it might be just dirt n debris trapped in the threads.

As far and squeaking = none.
