I have an 07 Type S that came with Brembo brakes and whenever I turn, my front driver side brake makes a metal to metal noise that sounds like the pads are on its way out. I've searched the forum and ruled out the following:
Break pads - these are brand new
Rotors - also brand new
Dust shield - nothing stuck, nothing hitting or near contact with the rotors, even gap all around.
Upon jacking up the car, I noticed that, when looking from the top, the inside portion of the rotors are shiny and it looks like the metal part i've arrowed in red is making contact with the rotors. Could this be the problem? If so, what would cause this and how do I fix it?
The calipers turn with the wheels, so that failure mode doesn't make any sense. Do you see scratch marks or marks on the rotor where that part made contact with the rotor?

Yes, there are marks on the rotor where the part is making contact with the rotor, it's actually shiny. I've circled the area where I believe it's making contact with each other.
