Brake wear indicator

Hi - Can someone tell me if the brakes on an automatic 2004 TL have a wear indicator?

Thanks.

If they are OE pads, they do. Little metal "squealer" tab. You should be able to see it.

Also, iirc, the pad has a groove in it. The groove ends at about 2mm material remaining. If the groove is gone, the pads are ready to be changed.

(I know the OE Brembo pads have this groove, not positive on the AT brakes).
