I visited relatives this weekend and after having my car parked in the driveway for no more than 5 hours I have a permanent mark from bird poop on the trunk. As soon as I saw it I washed it off but there is still a mark. It was probably in the sun for 4 hours. I had also waxed it a couple weeks ago. Is the paint really this bad or is it just due to it being black?

Wash it again. Then claybar it if the stain is still there. I seriously doubt that just 5 hours on a waxed car would hurt the paint.
