Question Battery went dead on 2007 TL

Hi

Hi, I have an Acura from 2007(bought it 28th of 2007) and it has around 12000 Miles on it (low milage car). Today the car just died on me. I called Acura Road Assisstance and with jump start I could go my way. Now My questions is that Will Acura replace the battery under warrenty or I have to replace it myself? The car is still under warrenty until Feb. 2011. I think the battery should be covered by Acura. Any suggesstion?

regards

they'll replace the battery under warranty. you won't need to worry about a prorated replacement or anything.

they will not replace it if the battery just needed to be recharged, it's still a good battery in that case. if it tests "bad battery" they will replace it no questions asked.

Technique only, but you may want to read that little book called the owner's manual that came with the car, pg. 25.

Battery warranty is actually separate from the regular bumper-to-bumper. Our 06 is out of warranty already (mileage), but the battery was replaced a few months ago, no problem.

I believe the battery warranty is 48 month, no mileage limit.

As mentioned a couple of times already, the battery will be replaced free of charge if it's a "bad" battery under warranty provided your still within the warranty mileage.
