Battery issue

Hi all,
so I've been having battery issues with my 07' TLs. I've had my battery replaced 2x's this month already and now the 3rd is dead. Disconected the HFL chip, and threw in the new battery but inmediately the battery light remained on even with the new battery in. 3 days passed and now the car is dead. Am I having an issue with my alternator? This TLs has been giving me lots of issues since owning it...maybe it's time to move on.

start the car up and then disconnect negative terminal cable, NOTE DO NOT REV THE CAR while disconnect the cable. If your car shut off then the alternator need to be replaced.

Sounds like a bad alternator... let us know what happens when you remove the negative cable.

dying while driving is textbook alternator failure. The alternator fails and your car is running on purely the battery, when the battery runs out of juice, your car dies. Replace your alt.
