Battery Drain...
Battery Drain...
I've replaced the battery and had the alternator checked, but if I don't drive my 06 for a day, the battery goes completely dead. Even the remote won't unlock the doors it's so dead. I never leave lights on or anything that would be an obvious cause, but I was curious if anyone else ever had this same issue. Thanks for any advice and information.
Hfl stands for hands free link or blue tooth. This is a very well known issue that drains your battery since the Hfl remains on. Google "06 TL hfl removal". It's very easy to disconnect and be done with the problem. I just left mine disconnected since I don't use it or the voice controls for the nav.

Wish I would have known this in Nov. Three trips to Les Schwab, a battery, one trip to another auto shop, an electrical test and eventually disconnection of HFL solved my problem, smh ~300 dollars later.
