woke up this morning at 6:20 am, got in my car, and found out the car didnt start...

After jump starting it I realized i need a new battery. Its an old battery anyway and it was time for a new one.

but here is my problem, and I was hoping for some help..

I ordered a new battery and gonna pick it up today, but the problem is that the minute i disconnect the + and - to replace the battery, the head unit will lock up and i would require the 6 digit code to unlock it.

I dont have that code ...

and i dont have the drivers manual either..dont have a clue where i put it. how can i get my hands on one? any help is appreciated it.

The code should be on the side of the glove compartment

 

Call any Acura dealer and give them the serial # off of the radio. This is gotten by holding down the 1 & 6 preset buttons at the sametime on the radio. The dealer might also want your VIN # as well.

Another reason to register your TL at www.myacura.com and save the Navi and Radio codes there.

 

I tried holding down 1 & 6 on the preset but nothing happens.. do I need to have the radio on? car in park? have it on XM? i tried everything..
