Battery Current Draw? Please Advise
Seems my battery is low after only sitting a couple days. I saw some other threads on the issue, but nothing conclusive. All I really want to know is what should the current draw be on the battery when the car is off and everything else is also?
I am looking for an exact number so I can check myself and start pulling fuses if it is too high? Anyone know where I can find this information.

The answer you are looking for is 50 mA. Only take this reading after the car has been sitting, undisturbed, for at least 20 mins. This gives everything in the car time to go to sleep. I'm assuming to measure you'll be using an amp clamp that is sensitive enough to pick up readings that low? Also, a suggestion is to open the hood, then arm the car. While the car won't truly arm, this will assist in everything going to sleep. If you really want to go all out you can unplug the hood latch switch so the car truly does arm. But you don't need to, as the car will go to sleep just fine.
So to recap, anything under 50 mA, and you're fine, anything over, it's time to troubleshoot. Should you find yourself with a high reading, around 250 mA, start with the HFL unit. They are known to stay awake and cause a draw around that reading.
Keep us posted.
