Hi guys, my check engine turned on last week then it went away after a few hours, it came back on two days ago so I checked the code. It read p0741 torque converter ckt performance or stuck off, I change the transmission fluid and it was black and smelled burnt. Should I drain it multiple times, get a new torque converter or just buy a new transmission?

Sell it and get a 2005 TL with a manual transmission or do a manual transmission swap so it matches your user name.
