Bad front Ball Joints, looking for the parts.
Hey Everyone, this is my second post I'm new to the crew. I've got an 05 TL w/nav and the shop I brought it to before I purchased it from a private party showed me a little bit of play in the front Ball Joints and said they needed to be replases ASAP. He quoted me for the entire control arm as a worst cases scenario, then later pulled me aside and said I could probably just get the ball joints themselves replaced.
If someone could help me with Part numbers from NAPA, or CARquest, or I've heard a couple peepls on here talking about MOOG BJ's (balljoint's just had to clarify) I'd really appreciate it.
And what's the difference between upper and Lower BJ's
I really need these soon, I think. Please help.

The dealership will tell you that you need to replace the whole lower control arm, But I don't think that's the case? I spoke with a mechanic who said I should be able to find just the ball joints, but who knows if he knew what he was talking about.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Ummm.... No noise or steering play, but before i bought the car I had it inspected by a mechaninc and he said there was play in each of the front balljoints. He showed me too, but I didn't see anything really moving under there? I just wanted to fix it before they got bad and I was in danger?

The lower ball joint from Acura comes as part of the knuckle, no separate part is listed. When removing the old one from the lower control arm, there is a tapered collar that the joint seats in. Sometimes when trying to pop out the joint, the collar separates from the lower arm. Acording to the acura tech manual, if this happens the whole lower arm needs to be replaced as well.
The upper ball joint is replaceable and i remember my local autozone had a Moog joint in his computer system.
