This is a for a 07 Accord V6, but essentially the same as TL.

Test was done with gear in D, left foot on the brake pedal with the front wheels choked. I revved 3 times to 2000 rpm. It appears my front engine mount might be gone? I'm not exactly clear how much the engine is supposed to move when I'm revving in gear.

The front end seems to rock back and forth whenever I let go of gas at lower speed without my foot on the brake pedal. I do not notice the rocking as much at higher speed. It's not the axle since I have no issues accelerating, and it's not the brakes because it happens without my foot on the brake pedal. Side mount was replaced last year. Mileage is about 180k miles.

I'm useless in terms of helping you, but I am interested in how to know when the mounts need to be changed.

 

It's either the front or the rear, but the front usually goes well before the rear. The side one usually goes around the same time as the front.

 

Replace the front before it messes up the side one again
