I bought my car in december 2006,(now 42k miles) and lately the gears have been shifting really rough( automatic TL). Even when I try to pick up slow, it shifts pretty rough. Any suggestions on fixing that?

 

also i just got my full service..dont see any difference in the shift

 

check the transmission fluid, also tell us the color of it. For how long has this been happening? do you live where there are road conditions such as snow/ice? also what do you mean by rought, jerking or mis-shifting? Also do you use premium gas?
