Auto Windows
Long story short. Went home to pick up car two flat brand new tires, discovered it was the valve stems on both, not a big deal. The next problem i noticed was that the driver's side window would not roll down or up automatically when the switch was pressed or pulled. I take it into the acura dealer and they did this thing where he fully cycled the window up and down while holding the button. He told me that it had to be programmed and that was the way to do it. I think it was BS and the car wanted to act up and be pissed off at me since i let it sit for so long. I had absolutely no problem with the passenger side.
Has anyone else had this problem with their auto windows.

Interesting, it could be possible when you replace the module, but as long as it works, right

this happens when the module looses power. You let the car sit and probably there was not enough battery power to keep that module alive, therefore it lost power at some point and forgot the memory for the auto windows. That is in fact the procedure to restore the auto function. It's in the 3G garage too with the service manual scans

it's me, Alan Rickman.
Yup yup.. it let's the window module know what the limits are for the window.. When I had a tC I had to do it for the sunroof and both windows.. something like open it all the way, then close it all the way, then up half way and back down.. i dunno.. but it's legit like csmeance said!
