How good or bad of a product is this for cleaning your engine and or transmission? This is added to the crankcase or to your transmission oil. Has any one tried this with their vehicle?

 

It seems to work for some people, but it didn't do anything for one of my other cars.

 

keep everything away from the transmission!!!!

Engine cleaners come in different forms - that can be used in the engine oil right before oil and filter change- many are solvent based - those say idle 5 minutes and drain oil- do not drive! and not suggested for use in a TL that I ever read about!!
Seafoam is popular brand that is ok to use, Wynns makes an intake cleaner too- Seafoam has 1 product that works in gas oil and intake manifold and cleans everything.
