Audio problems
So I drive an '08 TL-S and over the past month or so the radio keeps acting a little strange. The audio goes out when ever I turn sharply or when I hit a bump (even when I slow down)
. After turning the radio off and on it temporarily fixes the issue until I have to turn or hit a bump again. It seems that the radio still has power when that happens which tells me that something is loose but I don't know what. On long road trips, the audio would just randomly go out and come back randomly. Does anyone have a solution to this?

this is the first time I've heard of this.......my XM signal does go out every once in awhile, but all I have to do is turn the radio off or switch to a different audio input for a couple minutes and then switch back

Sounds like somewhere between the radio and the amp, there's a loose wire
Is this for all sound? XM, FM, AM, CD , tape?

Yup even the gps voice cuts off sometimes, but if it is between the radio and the amp (excuse the noobish question) but where is the amp located? And what would I need to do to fix it?

So i discovered that the power does indeed cut off when turning sharply. I tried to change the station and even tried to switch to xm radio but it just didn't respond. On the dash where it would show the station was blank.

Time to take apart the dash and check all the wires

Well unfortunately I don't have the tools to necessary to take it apart and even if I did I wouldn't know what to look for exactly. Anybody know a good spot in the NYC area that would be able to fix this?
