Hey guys, I’m currently attempting my first av6 swap. I started with dropping the whole subframe w/ engine & transmission to replace the transmission, rack & pinion, oil pan, all engine and transmission mounts (and eventually subframe mounts) and hopes of doing the timing belt, tensioners, and water pump. But I have a couple issues first thing I went to the junkyard to get the transmission and comes to find out there’s like a pipe that had screw and the threads are showing so I’m tryna figure that out and also when I was dropping the subframe a couple of connections broke I think I can pig tail it just not sure on what the best method is for that but I’m going to upload all the pictures and videos. Thanks in Advance. Oh and the solenoids on the transmission on of the connectors broke and when I got the transmission it didn’t have the two on top when I upload pics you’ll see
When I dropped it This is the av6 trans that’s missing that piece ofc . What piece is it? Av6 transmission What to do abt this? Should I take it back to the junk yard? When all was said and …not so done This connection is on the high pressure power steering hose it completely slipped out straight out. best pigtail/ splice idea? I was the only one moving the transmission and engine off the subframe so in the process I broke this connector near the oil filter/ oil filter housing. Need to replace and suggestions?
