APP sensor?

Okay, I am a woman in San Diego and seem to be having hte same trouble all of you are having with the failure to accelerate. Can I go to AutoZOne or O'Reillys and they will tell me for sure a code? Is there anyone here that can recommend someone to fix that for me for a reasonable amount? Thanks, Wendi

California stores won't allow you to do that anymore

@sockr1

where's that mechanic you've recommended in the past? I forget.

Actually I did get a code. Its says i have a misfire several times. P0301
was the code. I think my air intake might not be attached very well. Or spark plug?

Misfire is unlikely to be the APP sensor. Although a misfire can be associated to all kinds of possible options. Plugs, coils, and EGR valve are what come to mind first. I'm sure others will be along that know more details on that specific code.

What year TL? Any more detail on what you are chasing here? Maybe a better description of the 'failure to accelerate'?

take your car to mira Mesa auto techs. They specialize in Honda and Acura and is one of two places I’ll let work on my car. They are very reasonably priced and are honest. They have great reviews on yelp. Good luck!
