This was missing on my 2004 TL when I got it a few months ago and I dont know what it was. It's a small piece (I assume plastic or CF) to the left of the P on the shift plate. See pic.

Probably a plug where you stick a key (or something else) to release transmission from parking without starting a car.

But pick would be nice.

My guess is you will need to order it. I'd be surprised if your local dealer would have it in stock.
