Am i the only one with this problem....?
So, ever since i got the 08 TL-S, My sideview mirrors have always been a little "iffy"
I use the tilt feature in reverse when i park my car quite frequently... in fact, always... this is why i never curb a wheel
but anyways, i always noticed since day 1, it was never a smooth motion...... it would click and "stick" as it tilted down and returned up.... My 06 TL, never had this symptom....
So, today was the first real cold day of the year, and we got snow last night... so i go to get gas, i reverse to the pump, the mirror tilts down..... i put the car in park.. and it starts moving up... and keeps moving up... clicking and popping as it reached the maximum height, and kept trying to tilt upwards...
so i turn the car off.... it keeps tilting up!! i manually push it downwards, and it keeps on tilting up!!!!!
So, i get my gas, i start to drive home...and the f*ing mirror is still clicking and popping upwards!! sometime while i was driving home, it finally stopped.... i was like W-T-F was that about ?!?!?

My right side mirror clicks after it comes back up but it never kept popping while I am driving. My left one doesn't do it; I guess it's because I never use that one when I park LOL. I guess using dw-40 could do the trick but I'm not sure. But you're not the only with this problem.
