Alternator-battery charging problem

2007 Acura TL with 120k miles. Had battery problems thru summer, replaced battery. Parked car for 4 days, car was totally dead, had to jump. Then, had it parked 3 days, had to jump again. 3rd time, had parked 3 days, jump it agin....something w/alternator? Wiring? It will not hold charge to crank when sitting more than 24 hrs- HELP!!!

HFL failure or something else draining your battery. Do a parasitic draw test. HFL is the most common culprit.

More times than not, parasitic draw in this car is due to the HFL failing. When the car is off for awhile, feel the area near the sunroof switch and see if it is still warm. You can also check to see in the menu if you get a message saying "Hands Free Link Booting Up." If that message stays up, the HFL is bad. Personally, I would just remove it.

You can just unplug it (the HFL, above the front dome lights) and leave it be. It's 5-10 mins of "work". Then fully charge your battery and see if it's still dead/weak in the next day or 2 after.
