Alert: CT RSB users - tension link nuts

I had the driver's side 10mm nut (14mm hex) back off completely. I think I am one of the earliest users of the CT bar (04 M/T) and have not checked bar fasteners for 3 years. The passenger side remained tight. I replaced both sides with aircraft nuts (same thread but using 17mm hex) along with flat washers. My guess is that when the drivers side link is in tension (frame of car moving upwards relative to bar end) there is a slight motion in the lossening direction which slowly - over thousands of cycles - backed off the nut. On the passenger side this motion is in the tightening direction. I'm also using the energy suspension bushings but don't see how they would have any effect on the link connection.

I'm in the habit of re-lubing the rubber bushings every year.. so i do an annual inspection -- but good tip -- something to look closer at. thanks.

You can get the blue stuff off with regular tools; acetone will clean up the old locktite.
