this evening, my car alarm goes off while its sitting in the driveway. I disarm it from inside the house with the keyfob. A couple of minutes later it goes off again. Now I go outside to check on the car and everything is closed. Now I am standing by the front door waiting to see if it happens again, and lo and behold, the lights come on by themselves. I have the lights turned to the "always on" feature, so I turned it off (BTW i have an 04.) Two minutes later, the alarm goes off again. This time I took the negative cable from the battery off, going to reconnect it tomorrow morning when I go to work. Could my battery be dying? Any other possibilities that I cant think of?

 

Yup.. basically battery and malfunctioning relays come into mind.
