i have a 2008 TL and when i turn on my car, the airbag light shows and it says off. what do i do?

 

If you'retalking about passenger airbag... my lady's Type-S does it all the time too... it senses weight on the passenger sea I think.

 

wait... it stays ON or it stays OFF?

and if it stays on which location? above the Navi/Radio? or Cluster?

if it just comes on then OFF, itz just a systems check.

 

what does the owner manual have to say about the warning lights- self testing and normal operation?

 

it says off.

 

lol 01 loves his manual! but i agreee with him 100% before u even get in the car the sales guy should teach u everything about the car OR u should read the manual for an hour when u get home or at any point......it doesnt hurt and just about 95% of the questions asked.....would be answered.

 

I would NEVER think the salesman has a clue as to how things work on every car they sell.
You wont find them sitting around reading the owner book,,, thats for sure!
Go ask any of them specific questions and they will come up with the fastest lie they hope you will believe-- and go away,,,,,

When I got the TL- first night read the whole book- then go back and read section on special featuers again and if something funky happens- consult the book- oh!! thats how you get the turn signal bulbs out-- woulda never thought of that way!

I am am pilot- we have operating handbooks for every single type of plane, that must be memorized so in an emergency- you respond with action- not stumble and react with wrong solution and crash and die.
Yes I believe the owner handbook is available for a reason!!!
