My airbag light recently went on and i cant seem to turn it off, i did the resetting with the paper clip and it turned off but back ON next time i turned the car off and back on. So next i did the scanner plug test and here is the flash sequence of my problem, ANY HELP IS REALLY REALLY APPRECIATED:
Air bag code 4 slow flashes followed by 6 fast

 

It is your IMpact Sensor ( right side). Did you remove them?

 

Where can i find the impact sensors on my acura 2004 tl?

 

THe impact sensors just don't go bad , You need to tell me what happen to the car recently. Well, sensors are everywhere. 2 in fronts which behind the front bumper. side impacts have 2 of each side. 1 for the seat, 1 for curtain airbag. So, the airbag light just come on w/o any incident recently?

all i did was remove the inner panels by the seats to paint them, so i think i must have unpluged something by mistake, any ideas where i can strat looking?

 

there is a side impact under the carpet. You able to see it. If you take out the passenger sill and under the carpet you able to see the sensor. YOu can unplug and plug it back in. Then , do a reset procedure and check if you have damage any wire. Is your car under warranty?
