AC water drip or Steering fluid leak?

After driving my car around with the AC on... and I park it... .when I leave the lot, I can see a small puddle of water on the ground. Is this puddle the result of water dripping from the AC?

The reason I ask is because my car had to be serviced for a steering fluid leak due to a bad part. Go figure....bad part on a new 1 month old 2006 TL.

I am hoping that this is from the AC and not the steering fluid leak.

Any comments would be appreciated. ThankS!!

put your finger in it, if it's water it's from the AC. if it's a greasy fluid it's from something else

It's water.... but I was just wondering if it's normal for AC to drip water..... Noob question I know.... and I know the answer to this too... Yes it's supposed to leak... but I figure I'd ask just to be extra safe and sure.

It's normal for A/C condensation to drop on the ground. FYI, condensation is not actually a "leak" from inside anything, just water formed on the exterior of A/C system.
You should experience a puddle of water under every car after A/C has been run a little while, although the TL seems to drip more water than other cars I've driven. Maybe the TL's A/C is more efficient or just distributes more condensation for some other reason.
