2004 TL w/nav, heat works fine, ac blows but compressor does not come on. When I noticed it wasn't blowing cold, I switched it off and back on, I heard the condensor go off and come back on. After 2 more attempts, the condensor didn't come on at all.

Help!

 

For a 2004, it might just be low on freon. Did you check to see if the clutch still engages on the compressor? I believe these compressors have some kind of fail safe to were it won't come on if it's low on freon to keep from damaging it. Check that first and let us know...

 

^^^^ Take it in for a freon charge--that's almost always the issue. It's cheap, and they can tell immediately.
