Hello all. New to AcuraZine. I bought a nice 2006 Acura TL. My blower fan works when i turn the car on and then it shuts off 30 seconds later, It will occasionally turn back on and the turn off again. When it does not work i am not getting power to the resistor. When it does work i can get all speeds. It seems to work like normal and then shuts off again. I am lost. i have read many threads but cant find a solution to my problem. Anyone ever see this? I can get the fan to run every time by shutting the car off and starting it up again. Then it stops working. Thanks again. Tony.

I replaced the Resistor today with a quality one from Napa. It works like it should now. What i'd like to share is that i thought a resistor either works or it doesn't. Mine worked occasionally and i really thought i had a short somewhere. My fan would work here and there. when my fan stopped working i could turn the car off and back on and the fan would work again. I don't really understand why but i hope my write up helps somebody out there someday. Tony.
