? about my exhaust

I think last week I asked someone on here about how to get a quad exhaust. Someone told me to get the magnaflow mufflers, tips, and y pipe....The dimensions of the y pipe and muffler will fit but I wasn't expecting the tips to look this big.. I posted pictures below...they are 4 inch tips...

wait, so you have the stock TL tips? right?

am i getting this right?:
you bought 4 4" tips so you can make a quad exit?

the small type-s tips dont even fit on the base tl without modification, such as a new bumper or cutting

Either get a refund / sell the tips / cut your bumper.. the latter you can find posts on how to DIY..

I'm getting a a-spec kit put on, and then going to meineke to get the exhaust installed, will they shave the bumper?

Pay the Muffler shop around 100-200 Dollars to put them together along with 2.25" Piping and you are set. There currently are no magnaflow systems for the TL / TL-S.

he just assumed you had a type-s cuz you were lookin for quads..

maybe should've been more specific.

I may be reading that wrong, but does that say 3" inlet and 6.5" at the other end? If so that'll be 13" of tips across...that sounds a bit too huge...

EDIT: I'm a jackass...disregard...that's 2.25" in and 3" out....6" total across...shoudl look good
