64k and hesitation between shifts around 3000RPM

I drive a 2006 6MT and lately when I shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd or if I am driving in third and lightly gas it the car hesitates like three times and its consistently doing it. The car also does not feel like its as peppy as it used to be. The car does have a CAI and ATLP exhaust and J-pipe. I want to fix this its been bugging the crap out of me. Older posts kind of point me in all kind of directions with sensor changes and such...please help me figure this out. I have been just and observer on this site since I bought my car and I have finally come to a road block and needed to start posting.

I am thinking new spark plugs and a sea foam treatment...i have been using BG 44K and BG MOA every oil change since thats what the dealer tried to sell me for service but I am not sure if I am wasting my money with both those products and just stick with the seam foam??

Going through the same; I'm at 101k. Car just not feeling as powerful as before. Blamed it on the heat for a while, but never had this problem last summer. From other threads; I just ordered APP and IAT sensors.

We will see if they will solve the problem. Seafoam won't hurt. I've done it a couple of times in the past; might need to do that as well. I will let you know what turns up.

NP. The install doesn't seem hard at all from the instructions from the shop manual. Right now the hard part is waiting until the part comes in. It was $26 cheaper to order online rather than the local Acura parts.

So I did the seamfoam thing, however I did not get any white smoke coming out my exhaust like all these other guys...I will change the oil and install new denso iridium spark plugs in the morning...if this doesnt solve it, I will start checking sensors

I did the seafoam again but the right way this time and got all kinds of smoke from the exhaust...I changed the oil, spark plugs, and reset the ecu. The car is more responsive but still has the hesitation...now I am just lost on what to do. Please Help shine some light on my dilemma.

It's been a couple of days and I'm still satisfied about the with the IAT change.

I've decided to install the APP sensor since I got it anyway. I could kick myself; the mailman deliveried the APP part, but I wasn't home. Damn! I could have installed it by now.

Installed the APP sensor a couple of days ago. My car is pulling like I just added an aftermarket j-pipe or something! I have never spun my wheels in third gear before; this is not an exaggeration. Ok so the road was wet after the rain, but honestly, never done that before. I even have great passing power in 6th gear on the highway from 60 mph like I dropped gears. No hesitation what-so-ever!

I can't believe this does not throw a cel or something. My car is running stronger than ever before; really complimenting the mods. If you have high miles, this is a must!

I took a look at my IAT sensor and it looks fine I sprayed it with some carb cleaner and it made the car run even smoother but the surging is still there, so I am going to give in and by the APP sensor and see if it fixes the problem. My car is not old enough to be experiencing signs of old age.
