4 Quick Questions- PLEASE HELP (again)
I am new to Acura so a few things are concerning me and I am not sure if this is how a high performance car works or if i just bought a lemon from a used car dealer!
1. When I accelerate form a stop and get going if I let off the gas to ease up or to slow me down a bit I feel the car do a strange almost putt. Is that normal? Am I driving it wrong than it prefers...
2. I filled up the tank on Sunday and have drove about less than a 112miles this week for my regular commute and I am already nearing the end of tank. Does that seem like i am burning gas kind of fast? & If so why? Do I have a gas leak?
3. Does your navigation have to be logged in (i dont have password yet to get in) to access and program blue tooth?
4. Is it normal your front rims get black on them? ( I am assuming the breaks)

1. Normal-- the TL has an adaptive transmission and will even drop down a gear to slow the car at certain times when you're off the throttle.
2. Make sure you are using premium gas, as the TL uses more regular and mid-grade fuel, which negates any price advantage over premium. The TL has bad MPG in city driving and good MPG on freeway driving, but should exceed 250 miles per tank in the city.
3. No-- just use the Hands-Free Link buttons on the steering wheel and voice commands to program the HFL/Bluetooth. You can access an on-line copy of the owner and Navi manuals by registering onto the Acura owner website at https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=acura.
4. Yes-- brake dust; it's worst on the manual transmission TL and the TL-S with Brembos.
