A question for all you TL drivers with Automatic trannys: have any of you yet experienced the kind of issues I have been reading about the 2nd generation TL ATs have? Anybody running up high mileage and had any issues yet?

 

29k here on the '04 - no problems. 35k on the '02 - no problems there either.

Life is good.

 

I have 60K on my 04 TSX with AT and no problems yet either... but from what I am reading the ATs on the 4 cyl cars are not really as big an issue as the ATs on the 6 cyl cars.... I am looking at trading up to the TL, but not if I am going to have AT headaches in 2-3 years doing 30K a year.

Someone out there has to be driving more than I am with an 04 TL at and have something to report.

After 47k of the car being in the family I still smile whenever I see it. I love to walk out of a restaurant or something and see my beautiful car sitting there gleaming in the sun. I have no complaints, not even the tranny issue can bother me when it comes to my baby

 

That was all I knew I could find quickly, there are others with more miles.
