3M clear bra. $550.00
just got my White TL a week ago and already I am noticing paint chips. I had a 04 Mazda 3s that I traded in and the paint job on that was very cheep. Upgrading to a almost $40,000 car I would think this problem would diminish. I think the paint job is just as cheep!
I got 2 estimates for this 3M clear bra. $550.00 for the front bumper, full hood, back of mirrors. Has anyone done this and if so is it to much?

Front end protection, whether it is a nose mask or PPF is a must for today's vehicles. $550 installed for PPF is a very good price. There were some other threads on this with quotes around the same price. One of the best investments you can make to protect that $40k car.
Price of the car means nothing. Cars worth well over $70k have 'weak' paint. My last Benz (SL) was extremely bad, and the worst I've had was my '00 Lexus GS 400.
The best I've had... all have been domestics. My last 2 Explorers never chipped and one of them was black which also never even swirled.
