im a recent 2nd owner of an 06 TL 6MT / 110k i would like to know the recommended interval to change the gear oil in the gearbox and what type to use

 

I'm going to put this out there and then wait for the sh-t storm to ensue. By the time this thread gets going you are going to wish you searched for the perhaps the most answered and debated single issue on the 3G 6mt.

25K Miles good interval for me. GM Synchromesh Friction Modified Fluid (GMSMFM) is all I will use.

Now for the love of God ask the mods to close this post and go do your research on this board. I'm gonna go duck...
