I'd say it's more of the technician performing the balancing than the technology.

Using this locator, seems that 70 shops in 50 miles use it, including just about every dealership. I've likely been getting HRF balancing for years and not even knowing it.

I'll just leave this here, I just don't feel that a Hunter Road Force balance is magical as purported, rather a good, detail oriented tech is:

MFW most folks are getting the above "service."

Had it on the hunter road force and they said the wheels were fine and the tires balanced up, but still getting vibrations. I think that first shop I was going to was bullshit and the techs sucked and I couldve done a better job than they did. The guy working on my car looked like a freakin high school kid.

I am taking it back to Acura first thing tomorrow for them to inspect it. Also getting inspection and emissions for the first time with this car. I will update probably tomorrow.

I am back at the dealership. They cannot figure it out. They say they cant feel the vibration I am describing. I offered to drive them, but they already drove it themselves so they dont want to go with me. The vibrations only come in above 80 and they are driving on a crappy road where they cant feel it. I dont know what to do anymore.

Well I am glad to say I think the car is back to normal. At least today driving to work it seemed okay. This has all been a huge annoying pain in the ass and I am still amazed that what it took was ANOTHER balance on the road force machine. I talked to the shop forman at the dealership, practically begging him to let me drive him in the car to show him the problem as he drove it and said couldnt find any fault in how it drove.

Well I damn sure had a fault and this was like the fifth time I was at a shop for this. He said he would road force balance the fronts again after we talked for a while about the vibrations and when and how they were coming on during high speeds.

They only charged me for inspection and sent me on my way and to my amazement the car drove better this time. So yes it took five balances to get the vibrations to stop. At least I have gotten an alignment, balance, and inspection. Still thinking about getting a camber kit to realign the rear. If I change camber does that automatically make the toe different?
